Product Overview
Weighted Blankets
Steady Pressure in a Modern Slate Finish
The ComfortSleep Heavy Blanket in Slate settles over the body with 18 lbs of evenly distributed glass microbeads, creating the gentle, grounded pressure many adults look for after long, restless days. Each 4-inch quilted pocket holds the fill in place, so the weight stays where it should instead of pooling at the edges by morning. The brushed cotton shell in a muted grey-blue shade feels soft against the skin and breathes well through Canadian winters and heated bedrooms alike. Use it on its own in warmer months, or anchor it inside a duvet cover through the eight sewn loops when the temperature drops. At 48 by 72 inches, it covers one sleeper from shoulders to feet without dragging over the sides of the bed.

Cleaning and Fabric Care Guidance
Gentle Cotton Cycle
Choose a delicate programme with cold water and a slow spin. Liquid detergent rinses out of the cotton shell more cleanly than powder and leaves no residue in the quilted pockets. At 18 lbs the blanket is too heavy for most home machines, so use a commercial front-load washer at a laundromat.
Shade Drying
Dry flat in the shade or indoors. Direct strong sunlight can fade slate cotton, and the 48 × 72 in format needs a large flat surface.
Duvet Cover Routine
Tie a removable cover to the anchor loops and wash the cover weekly. The ComfortSleep Heavy Blanket 18lbs Slate itself then needs a full wash only three or four times a year. Wash the slate blanket with dark colours only; a cup of white vinegar in the first wash helps fix the dye.
